About Us
Our Founder
Sharad landed in Dayton OH in 1997, and in early 1999 joined Oracle and moved to the bay area. He stayed at Oracle for nearly ten years, worked in the web, mobile, java, python & databases technologies as an engineer/architect, and then moved on to various management positions. Sharad later held senior management positions at other bay-area tech companies, leading and managing innovative products.
While Sharad was busy with his corporate job doing late night and early morning meetings, his 9-year-old tech whiz son was craving to get guidance and have technical brainstorming sessions with him. This was the time when he started looking around to find a technology mentor or guide for his son. Sharad quickly realized that even living in Silicon Valley and the vicinity of tech giants like Google & Apple, there were no real high-tech places or resources where kids are taught coding, technology, or computer science skills in a structured and meaningful way. This became the turning point for Sharad; his son’s passion for learning technology inspired him to build a platform for every child to learn technology, and the idea of NextGen Tech Learning was born…
Sharad is passionate about emerging technologies and innovations and loves to follow the next big thing in technology. He is keenly interested in AI, Machine Learning, VR/AR, Mobile Technologies, Robotics, IoT, Sensor Programming, Distributed Computing, and Quantum Computing.
Sharad is married to his beautiful wife, Preeti, who holds a computer science degree and loves to create a fusion of technology and art using her design skills. They are proud parents of two kids.

NextGen Tech Learning is one of the first Coding, Robotics, and Technology Schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. NextGen Tech takes pride in providing the largest selection of high-quality classes. Since early 2014, NextGen has offered a wide selection of computer programming and technology courses for kids & teens (2nd to 12th grade). Courses are based on a professionally designed curriculum and taught by subject matter expert teachers through in-person and online classes.
Computer Programming is today's new literacy skill. It is the language of creativity and enhances critical thinking. It will not only open an opportunity for future success but also will bond students to a new interest. We prepare them to become leaders in this digital age.

Technology and Coding have revolutionized everything from medical science, engineering, education, entertainment, banking, and even how we socialize with our friends. Computer science and technology has become an essential skill, no matter what field of career one wants to follow.
At NextGen Tech Learning, our mission is to provide a creative platform for every child going into the next generation to learn Coding & Technology. Our goal is to teach students computer science, show them the endless possibilities computer science can open up for them, and give them a new direction of creativity and productivity. Coding, Technology & Engineering are considered the core foundation of an advanced society.
Our teaching style is transitional: We provide teacher-led in-person and online classes with personalized attention to each student, blended with student-driven projects & hands-on activities. We highly encourage students to engage in technical discussions, ask curious questions, and brainstorm new ideas in class. We encourage students to implement their technical skills into real-world solutions/products.
Our custom curriculum is designed for kids as is designed to make learning coding & technology an enjoyable and highly creative experience. We inspire students to think beyond just being the consumer of devices & gadgets, and to understand the technology behind it, and how they can build & invent their own and be the Next Tech Leader.
Sharad Singhani - Founder and President
Sharad founded NextGen Tech Learning in early 2014 with a dream to give a vision of technology to every child going into the next generation.
Sharad has extensive experience in the software industry. He worked at large enterprises, mid-size companies, and start-ups - always building, leading, and managing cutting-edge technology products. Sharad graduated from IIT Roorkee and started working on evolving technologies like Web, Java, C++, and RDBMS early in his career. He was one of the early adopters of Java programming language while Java was still in the beta version.
